The Abiding Life – Session 1

Gene Cunningham teaches that the abiding life is a place of rest, joy, peace, and security found by coming to Jesus Christ and receiving Him by faith, resulting in a life of obedience and fruitfulness. This life is characterized by a relationship with Jesus Christ, where He abides in us and we abide in Him, and is marked by five essential daily elements: cleansing, growing, fellowship, fruitfulness, and peace. It is not something we achieve by our own effort, but rather a result of a relationship with Jesus Christ.
