Walking in the word and Spirit is necessary to avoid entangling sins; Restoration to fellowship upon failures (Gal 5:16, 1Jo 1:7, 1Jo 1:9, Psa 51:1-19); God rewards this faithfulness (1Pe 3:8-12). God's Justice exposes man's soul - mercy, righteousness, deception, shrewdness (Psa 18:25-27, Mat 5:7) God is gracious to the humble but brings down the arrogant (Jam 3:12, Jam 4:6, 1Pe 5:6). God provides illumination, enablement, deliverance (Psa 18:28-30, Mat 5:16, Joh 8:12). David is vindicated by his own testimony (1Sa 26:23), by God's testimony (1Ki 14:8), and by the record of history (1Ki 11:4).
