Four beasts representing world empires (Dan 7:1-8) Judgment of the beasts (Dan 7:9-12); Christ sets up His Kingdom (Dan 7:13-4). Revived Rome will be made up of 10 European nations - out of which the Antichrist, little horn, the beast, the son of perdition. Only the bible bases it's authenticity on prophecy. Prophecy is descriptive and predictive. Prophecy is something only God can provide (2Pe 1:21). Those that try to allegorize prophecy are stupid (2Pe 3:3-13). Over 300 prophecies were fulfilled in first coming of Jesus Christ. Daniel's request (Dan 7:15-16) to understand the prophecies. The angel explain the empires and their fall -- the saints posses the kingdom (Dan 7:17-18, Dan 2:44-45, Luk 12:29-32). The angel doesn't give Daniel the information all at once (Dan 7:19-22). You must have a 10-power European alliance before the antichrist can come out of it. The little horn has a big mouth (Dan 7:20, 2Th 2:3-4, Rev 13:1-6). The Rapture and 2nd Advent are not one in the same (1Th 4:13-18). The tribuation (Dan 9:27). Tribulation chronology: (1) Rome forms the foundation for the final gentile empire (Dan 7:23). (2) Out of Rome comes a 10-power European alliance (Dan 7:24, Rev 13 & 14). (3) After subduing three kings, the Antichrist begins a blasphemy against God, and war against the saints(Dan 7:25, Dan 9:26-27, Mat 24:15). "Times and law" refers to sacrifice and levitical system (Dan 7:25). The Antichrist breaks his covenant in the middle of the tribulation (Dan 9:27 - "time, times, and half time" - Rev 12:6, Rev 12:14, Rev 13:5). This is the start of the "Great Tribulation" (Mat 24:21). (4) When the supreme court of heaven passes judgment, the Antichrist will be destroyed at the return of Christ (Dan 7:26-27, Dan 7:13-14). Tracking the Antichrist in scripture: (1) he comes out of the 10-power alliance of Rome (Dan 7:8, Dan 7:20, Dan 7:24, Rev 13:1-8, Rev 17:12-18). (2) When he comes, the Antichrist will establish a peace agreement with the Jews (Dan 9:26-27, Dan 8:9-14). (3) During the 1st half of the tribulation, 144,000 Jewish evangelists will be commissioned by God (Rev 7:1-8, Rom 9-11). (4) Because of the success of the 144,000 the Antichrist will stop the worship in Jerusalem, and enter the temple, calling himself God (Dan 8:9-14, Dan 9:27, Dan 10:29-35, Mat 24:15-22, 2Th 2:3-4, Rev 13:3-8). (5) During the last half of the tribulation, there will be open season on the saints (Dan 7:21-25, Dan 8:11-14, Dan 11:31-35, Dan 12:1-3, Mat 24:15-21, Rev 13:7). (6) Antichrist reign of terror will be ended by the return of Christ (Dan 2:44-45, Dan 7:13-14, Dan 7:22, Dan 7:27, Dan 11:45, Mat 24:29-31, Luk 21:25-28, 2Th 1:7-10, 2Th 2:8, Jud 1:14-15, Rev 6:12-17, Rev 14:14-20, Rev 19:11-21). (7) 2nd Advent will be followed by Christ's reign of 1000 years, prior to creation of a new heaven and earth (Rev 20:4, Rev 20:6, Rev 21:1-27 compared with 2Pe 3:8-13).
