The Gospel According to David

 Rocky Mountain Bible Conference

May 27–29, 2016

In Psalm 32 David declares, “Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord does not impute iniquity.” Paul uses this quote in Rom 4:7–8 to support three great truths of the Gospel:
(1) Justification is by faith in Christ alone;
(2) God imputes His righteousness to those who believe the Gospel; and
(3) This righteous standing before God is apart from works of any kind.

Time To Endure 3

"fear not" is the most common command in the Bible. Job feared his children would rebel from God. "Count it all joy" is an accounting term. Jesus Christ has been made to us wisdom (1Co 1:30). Wisdom is the ability to navigate through life according to God's plan. Wisdom starts with an acknowledgement of need. The source is the word of God. Being a "doer" is humble application of God's word (Jam 1:22). God the Father works through His son. God the Son does His work through the Holy Spirit. Spirit of Gof God does His work through the Word of God. The Word of God does its work in the believer. Imperishable crown (1Co 9:27). Crown of righteousness (Phi 4:1, 1Th 2:19)
