The Gospel in Isaiah 53 - 2: Christ the Suffering Servant Redeems Adam (Isaiah 53)

The Gospel in Isaiah 53 declares that the Messiah, the suffering servant, bears the sins of many through substitutionary atonement, accomplishing past redemption, present justification, and future reconciliation that satisfies the Father and secures peace with God. Christ now serves as believers' advocate, intercessor, strong helper, ever-present friend, and the source of wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, with the cross illustrated as a timeline of redemption, propitiation, justified standing, and ongoing reconciliation.
