Parables and Promises 1

Gene Cunningham teaches a parallel study between the Beatitudes and the kingdom of heaven parables, comparing spiritual character to outward mission. He explains that poverty of spirit is the essential starting point for spiritual growth and total dependence on God's grace (Matthew 5:1-10). True hearing of the Word requires an active response resulting in obedience and life change.
