Lesson 3: Israel, the Church, and Universal Salvation (Romans 9)

Lesson 3: Israel, the Church, and Universal Salvation (Romans 9)

God’s sovereign election and human moral responsibility work together: He hardens those who persistently reject His revealed will, giving them over to their own desires as just judgment, while offering salvation to all through faith in Christ, not mere works. Israel’s present rejection does not cancel the covenant; Gentiles are grafted in without replacing Israel, whose future restoration remains assured.
