These lessons were presented May 23–24, 2014 at the Rocky Mountain Bible Conference in Denver, Colorado. At this conference, Gene teaches on passages from the book of Hebrews including the following subjects:
►  Hope as an “anchor of the soul”
►  Eternal security
►  “Pressing on to maturity”
►  Baptism
►  Christ as the perfect sacrifice
►  Process of “falling away” (to include the sin unto death)
►  Priesthood, ambassadorship, and ministry of the individual believer
The key verse for the conference is Heb 6:18–20:
“That by two immutable things, in which it is impossible for God to lie, we might have strong consolation,
we who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: which hope we have as an anchor of the soul,
both sure and steadfast, and which enters within the veil; where Jesus has entered as a forerunner for us, even Jesus,
having become a High Priest forever after the order of Melchizedek.”

Ezekiel #34

Ezekiel #34

Redemption is coming to Israel from the Shepherd of Israel (Eze 36:22-28). He will regather the Jews into their own land (Eze 36:24, Isa 11:11). He will cleanse them (Eze 36:25-26). He'll put His Spirit on them (Eze 36:27-28). He will empower them to obey (Eze 36:31). The Abraham covenant in Gen 3:15 promises seed and blessing. The Palestinian covenant is the land promise (Deu 30:1-14). The seed covenant or Davidic covenant is that a King shall rule forever in Jerusalem (2Sa 7:12-16). The new covenant Jer 31:31-34) is what we've entered into. Where there is forgiveness there is no longer a sacrifice (Heb 10:17). Our conscience ought to be cleansed from guilt (Heb 9:14). Ezekiel took two sticks to illustrate the northern and southern kingdoms to say God would regather them (Eze 37:16). The prophecy of the dry bones is a prophecy of the regathering (Eze 37:1-8). The new covenant gave us at least five thins: (1) baptism of the Holy Spirit (1Co12:13) placing us into union with Jesus Christ; (2) We've been regenerated (Tit 3:5); (3) we are indwelt forever by the Holy Spirit (Rom 8:9-11); (4) we are uniquely gifted (1Co 12:4-7); (5) We are sealed until the day of redemption (Eph 4:30) — we are secure in Christ. The kingdom of glory is prophetic but kingdom of Grace is here now (Rom 14:17). Christ should be reigning in our life.
