Long ago an unknown man uttered an obscure prayer. God recorded that prayer to be an encouragement to each and every seemingly insignificant and unknown believer who has the boldness to pray and trust Him for great things.

Ezekiel #10

Ezekiel #10

The great error of modern spirituality is to equate it with emotion. The rapture of the church is a part of God's glory leaving the world before judgment. God lives above the Cherubim and passes judgment (Psa 18:10, Psa 18:13, Psa 97:2, Eze 10:1-8). God marks remnant believers for protection from judgment (Jer 39:15-18, Jer 40:4, Jer 45:5). Idolatry is why God will discipline Israel (Eze 8:6). God holds us accountable for His gifts He's given (Luk 12:48). God gets glory from blessing and judgment (Isa 43:7). God's throne is built on Righteousness (Psa 97:2, Psa 89:14, Joh 1:14). Wheels within wheels refers to God's immutability -- no turning. Eyes refer to omniscience (Eze 10:9-13). The faces reflect the character of Christ (Eze 10:14-22). "Ichabod" - Moses foretold the departing of the glory of God (Due 31:7, Hos 9:12). Ichabod "no glory" is defined when the Israel is defeated loses the ark (1Sa 4:11, 1Sa 4:21). The same can happen to a church (Rev 2:4, Rev 3:20) and to an individual (1Co 3:16-17, 1Co 6:20). Our body is a temple; we are to glorify Him. The glory can leave a marraige; we are to submit to one another in the fear of Christ (Eph 5:21-33). The two fig baskets (Jer 24:1-10). The basket of good figs are the captives of Judah; bad figs Jews in Jerusalem. God knows what we think (Eze 11:5, Jer 17:10). Bad figs - Prophecy fulfilled - people taken from Jerusalem and judged (Eze 11:1-12, Jer 52:24-27). Good figs (Eze 11:13-20)
