Micah gives the time of writing as “in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah,” (Mic 1:1). This places his ministry from about 740 to 710 B.C. This book of his prophecies was likely compiled around 700 B.C. He was a contemporary of the prophet Isaiah. His name is a shortened form of “Micaiah” (cf. 1Ki 22:8–28, another prophet), meaning “Who is like Jehovah.” Gene Cunningham - March 10, 2019

The annual 2019 PA Men's and Women's retreat was hosted by Fairview Bible Church- Erie, PA March 8-10, 2019. The theme for men's classes was "The Light that Shines Through The Darkness - How our study, understanding and application of God's Word impacts this present generation," which comes from 1Pe 2:9b "...that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."
