Micah gives the time of writing as “in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah,” (Mic 1:1). This places his ministry from about 740 to 710 B.C. This book of his prophecies was likely compiled around 700 B.C. He was a contemporary of the prophet Isaiah. His name is a shortened form of “Micaiah” (cf. 1Ki 22:8–28, another prophet), meaning “Who is like Jehovah.”

From Series: "2023 PA - After These Things"

Basic Training Bible Ministries and Fairview Bible Church presented the 2023 East Coast Conference on April 14th through 16th. Gene Cunningham taught "After these things ...": A Study of the Church after the Rapture derived from Revelation 4:1. After these things I looked, and behold, a door standing open in heaven. And the first voice which I heard was like a trumpet speaking with me, saying, “Come up here, and I will show you things which must take place after this.” Revelation 4:1 (NKJV)
