Micah gives the time of writing as “in the days of Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah,” (Mic 1:1). This places his ministry from about 740 to 710 B.C. This book of his prophecies was likely compiled around 700 B.C. He was a contemporary of the prophet Isaiah. His name is a shortened form of “Micaiah” (cf. 1Ki 22:8–28, another prophet), meaning “Who is like Jehovah.”

Living Faith, Lasting Fulfilment

Colossians - Living Faith Lasting Fulfillment - Uniontown PA - 2008

Col 1:12-20; Joh 19:30; 1Co 3:11; Mat 7:24-25. Christian life is built on the finished work of Christ which is accomplished because of a mighty Savior. Work of God. 5 things Christ did for us on the cross. Husbands love your wives, as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for it. Finished work of Christ on the cross only has meaning because of Who did it.
