The book of Hosea is divided into two unequal sections: The first (Chapters 1–3) uses the relationship between Hosea and Gomer, to set the stage
for the second (Chapters 4–14), which deals with God’s complaint against Israel and the coming judgment. In the first, we have the faithful prophet and the faithless bride; in the second, we see the faithful God and faithless Israel.
The theme of the book is the loyal love of God for idolatrous Israel, and the power of His redemption and forgiveness to transform her into His beloved bride.

Time To Endure 7

Ecl 7:13 "who can make straight what He has made crooked?" Marriage is a microcosm of life. Endurance is a reflection of love. Heb 11:27 "By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king; for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible." "By faith..." centers everything that follows in a love relationship between the disciple and his Lord. "...he forsook Egypt..." Discipleship comes with a cost. "...not fearing the wrath of the King...". How much fear do we have (e.g. what others think of us). Moses refused to live in fear. The fears we have never materialize. Faith and fear cannot live in the same house, life and soul. "...for he endured as seeing Him who is invisible". What preoccupies your mind? Where's your focus? (Psa 34:4) God changes the things you desire. 7 decisions Moses made the echo today. Moses was a "beautiful" child (Heb 11:23). Moses' parent's saw something unique in him. Moses chose the wise path (Heb 11:24) "refused to be called the son of Pharaoh's daughter". "choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin," (Heb 11:25). Moses counted the cost. "esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt; for he looked to the reward." (Heb 11:26) He had the eternal perspective. Moses endured by keeping his eyes on Him (Heb 11:27). Moses was obedient in the face of mockery (Heb 11:28). Moses passed his faith to a generation (Heb 11:29).
