The Jews used a method of teaching called Charaz. It’s the string of pearls together in which they would take parts of several verses, and they would put them together. I have strung together some verses for you today about the care that God has for you.
“Who am I that you would take part of me? How precious are your thoughts towards me, the Lord? How vast is the sum of them? The very hairs of my head are all numbered. You guard my going out and my coming in. You strengthened me. You help me. You uphold me with Your upright right hand. Indeed, my name is engraved on the palm of Your hands. You intercede for me with groanings too deep for words, and my anxious thoughts multiply. You comfort my soul. You make me lie down in green pastures. You lead me beside quiet waters. You are near to me when I am brokenhearted. And You save me when I am crushed in spirit. You will never leave me, and You will never forsake me.”
Put together your own string of pearls.
