Faith is the Victory, written by Nancy Cunningham, focuses on the five Hebrew words for faith: amen, batach, chasah, yaqal, and qawah and five women in the Bible who epitomized these qualities: Abigail, Hannah, Sarah, Ruth, and Mary.
“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and this is the victory that overcomes the world—our faith!
And who is the one who overcomes the world, but He who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” 1Jo 5:4–5

Ephesians #27

Nan gives an India mission report. Jude writes to contend for the faith. "Hating even the garment soiled (defiled) by the flesh" and "look to Him who is able to keep you from falling" Jud 1:20-25 We need to change our clothes often - lay aside our garments, conduct - which means repentance and confession (Eph 4:22) to be "renewed in the spirit" (Eph 4:23). "Put on" the new man means the new creature God "created in Righteousness", and speaks truth (Eph 4:24-25).
