The Book of Esther
The Hidden Hand of God
God Standing in the Shadows
“… if I perish, I perish.” Est 4:16b
The book of Esther never mentions the name of God, but His hand is seen in everything that takes place in the story. The theme is easily understood as that of the providence of God. Esther is a story that illustrates the truth of this priceless doctrine. Providence has been called “the hand of God in the glove of history.” It is the heavenly Father watching over and caring for His people.

Grappling With Life #1

Spiritual life is an attitude of humility. This attitude sets our priority, which leads to good decisions and actions. Seek the Kingdom first (Mat 6:33). Divined guidance is based on willing to do His will (Joh 7:17). If we will to do His will, God will be faithful and make His will know to us. Follow the light even when you are going through the dark valley (Joh 8:12)

Scripture References: John 8:12, John 7:17, Matthew 6:33

From Series: "Grappling with Life"

We have the opportunity live as an example of Christ's life in the midst of hardship and trouble. Eph 6:12 says we wrestle with the cosmos. Attitude is everything. We are not a product of our environment or circumstances. This series reminds us set priorites and apply those priorities to be able to grapple with life on earth.
