The Book of Esther
The Hidden Hand of God
God Standing in the Shadows
“… if I perish, I perish.” Est 4:16b
The book of Esther never mentions the name of God, but His hand is seen in everything that takes place in the story. The theme is easily understood as that of the providence of God. Esther is a story that illustrates the truth of this priceless doctrine. Providence has been called “the hand of God in the glove of history.” It is the heavenly Father watching over and caring for His people.

The Hidden Hand of Providence?A Study in the Book of Esther — PA Conference 2014

Gene Cunningham - October 26, 2019

PA 2019 Session 5

An Appeal for Faithfulness in and Age of Apostasy

Hebrews 4:1 Fear not entering His rest Heb 4:10 don’t be like the Exodus generation. Rest in His work Heb 4:14 stand firm on our battlefield— the moment that you start functioning with Christ as our High Priest is the moment life changes for us —prayer then becomes powerful. Hebrews 5:1-14 Levitical priests continued to sacrifice in error and evil; Jesus fulfilled that function perfectly. 1 Pe 2:5-9 we are all priests. We are all ministers. Heb 6:1-3 dead works are done in our own effort.
