The Transforming Power of Grace 7

The Transforming Power of Grace 7

"adorn the word of God" (Tit 2:9). Is our life presentable to God? Humility and brokenness is the only way we advance in the plan of God (Tit 3:1-4). We've been saved for good works (Tit 3:5-8). Justification by faith vs. works: Jam 2:14. Not one of the five occurrences of the word "save" in the book of James refers to eternal deliverance from the lake of fire. We lack wisdom (Jam 1:4-5). Blessed are we when we endure temptation (Jam 2:12).  Implanted word can save our soul (Jam 2:18, Jam 2:21). Life is full of various (multi-colored) trials. When we stand in His presence, we'll be approved if we pass through the trial if we "count it all joy." He collects our tears (Psa 56:8). James wants us to be delivered through trials to glorify God. Dead faith isn't visible (Jam 2:14-24). Abraham was justified by works before men (Rom 4:1-5). Our faith is like our body, our living body has to breath to stay alive. The spirit is breath.
