The theme for the Spring 2011 Bible conference in Phoenix is found both at the beginning and end of the book (1Ti 1:18, 1Ti 6:12). In each reference, different words and phrases are used. In the first, Paul speaks of the good fight of faith as an ongoing campaign, thus reminding us that we are part of a vast and great spiritual army. In the last, his words focus on our own personal struggle, a good reminder that no one can fight our battle for us. You know you are in an Age of Apostacy when the impact of christians is dim and unnoticed. When we stand before Jesus at the Judgement Seat of Christ, the only thing we will have to offer for His Faithfulness is our rewards (refer to the actions of 24 Elders in Revelation). In Hebrews Chapters 1-2, Jesus is superiior to angels. In Chapters 3-4, He is superior to Moses, Joshua, and David. In Chapters 5-7, He is superior to 1500 years of the Levitical Priesthood. In Chapters 8-10, He is superior to the old covenant. In Chapters 11-13, He is superior to all the saints. The Work is done (Heb 10:18) -- that's Good News! Time is ticking by, God's Wrath is coming, and we need to heed the warning (Heb 10:26): We need to: (1) draw near to God and pray (Heb 10:22); (2) hold fast our confession and tell the story (Heb 10:23); (3) consider one another (Heb 10:24).

On October 25th – 27th, 2019 Basic Training Bible Ministries and Abundant Life Church in Uniontown, PA presented “An Appeal for Faithfulness in an Age of Apostasy – The Five Warning Passages from The Book of Hebrews”. The theme comes from Hebrews 2:1 “Therefore, we must give more earnest heed to the things we have heard, lest we drift away.”
