Beauty for Ashes #8
Why does God let us go through trials? to comfort others (2Co 1:3-10, 1Pe 4:13). God is a deliverer. Paul thanks the Corinthians for standing with him. We are to work together as a team (1Th 5:8-9, 1Th 5:12-14). We need to get into the habit of being thankful (1Th 5:16-18).

If so you know that in time of affliction there is no thought or word that has deeper meaning nor any possession of greater value than that of effective and genuine comfort.
