After two days is the Passover. This feast celebrates Israel’s exodus from Egypt (read Exodus 12). It began the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Matt. 26:17). See Leviticus 23 for the feasts of Israel.
The Son of Man will … be crucified. The sacrifice of the Passover lamb pointed forward to the crucifixion of Jesus, the
Lamb of God (John 1:29, 36).
