The Transforming Power of Grace 1

The Transforming Power of Grace 1

Paul corrected Peter at Antioch and that effected him in his epistles (2Pe 1:1-4, 2Pe 3:14-18). We all have to be willing to grow. Paul grew 15-17 years before he exercised his Apostleship. Paul had left Titus on Crete heading to Rome having been summoned. Titus is probably the second to last book he wrote. Theme is "setting things in order". What is the purpose of God's training us? The outline (1) Spiritual Leadership, (2) Sound Teaching, (3) Sanctified Living. Spiritual leaders should teach and live in a way that they have an impact on others to live in a way that brings honor and glory of Jesus Christ. Spiritual leadership is grounded in the gospel (Gal 1:8-9). The gospel message is exemplified in the Apostle Paul; it is embodied in the gospel and entrusted to Titus. Paul calls himself a bond slave from birth. He is an Apostle and he proclaimed the message (Tit 1:1-3).
