Secure In Christ #2

Is the term "Eternal security" in the Bible? Yes. Evidence is in the last saying of Jesus, "It is finished" (Joh 19:30) which means in Roman times "Paid In Full". "We have been sanctified once for all (Heb 10:10-14)" which mean "never to be repeated". "perfected" in Heb 10:14 is the same Greek word "finished" in Joh 19:30. "Saint", "Sanctified" (Col 1:13, Joh 5:24) - we've been set aside for God.

  • "eternal salvation" (Heb 5:9);

  • "eternal purpose" (Eph 3:11);

  • "eternal life" (Rom 6:23);

  • "eternal redemption" (Heb 9:12);

  • "eternal covenant" (Heb 13:20);

  • "eternal inheritence" (Heb 9:14-15);

  • "eternal glory" (1Pe 5:10)
